Arayah Fleming

Arayah Fleming, she/her, has been a professional dancer and teaching artist in California for a little over 7 years now. She teaches hip hop dance classes for adults and kids starting at the age of 3, with her main studio, Destiny Art center, and for various schools in the Oakland Unified School District. As a professional dancer, she’s had the opportunity to perform at various shows across the country, be a featured dancer in the tv show ‘Blindspotting’ and even dance in commercials for a few companies including Google. When she’s not working with the youth or performing, she’s also teaching at Full Out Studios or choreographing for Grammy award winning, Alphabet Rockers. Arayah’s biggest priority as a teacher is to see her students leave with a new sense of confidence in their movement and an understanding that no matter where they are in their dance journey, they deserve to be proud of their growth, no matter what.

Bibi Khalili

Born and raised in the Bay Area as the second child of Iranian immigrants, Bibi’s connection to dance and the arts is at the core of her being. While studying Business Management at SJSU, Bibi danced with Mind Over Matter before joining the Funkanometry SF fam and eventually directing one of the first all female dance teams, delafemme. In time, Bibi has shifted to more of a focus on event production with the founding of DAM Events (dance art music events) and the co-founding of Creative Transit Agency. Bibi’s continued goal is to create and enhance spaces for Bay Area artists to connect and grow alongside their communities via DAM and CTA. Next up on the DAM schedule is Sound Lab on December 14th and then on February 8th, DAM is co-hosting a Wellness Event for Movers alongside Bliss Dance in the name of Junction 80, a new DAM collaborative movement for the NorCal dance scene alongside 1up Crew.
